Law Offices of W. George Senft

In 2003, W. George Senft received his law degree in California. He is admitted to practice law in both Oregon and California.

Before opening his Portland legal practice in 2008, George was a partner in a busy Los Angeles bankruptcy and family law firm where he counseled thousand of clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters. During his stay, George supervised the firm’s family law department.

George currently focuses his practice on representing Debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies. He is also passionate about family law matters and he enjoys litigating complex and simple divorces, custody and support matters.

In 2009, George was recognized by the Multnomah County Bar for his bankruptcy volunteer activity with Legal Aid Services of Oregon. Previously, he volunteered for the Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County and he provided free legal representation to victims of domestic violence.

In the past, George was invited to speak at bankruptcy law seminars related to fraud and means test issues in Chapter 7 bankruptcies.

While in law school, George was an author and editor for the Journal of Juvenile Law.

In his spare time, George enjoys spending time in his wood shop building furniture or hiking with his Yellow Lab “Yoshi” in the beautiful Northwest.
